Looking for something besides fineliners to ink my drawings and comics in the sketchbook, I started looking into other types of pens and brushes I can use on the go as well as for more detailed work. Refillable brush pens are great but don’t go as fine as I would like, so I came to these disposable ones. Early tests were with the Kuretake Fudegokochi (fine or super-fine, I forgot) but it’s not water-fast (even though it is advertised that way on some online shops) so that made it usesless for my needs. My first commission as a part-time freelancer: a logo for Kunstcirkel: a non-profit offering support to artists by co-producing or organising projects, giving out business & legal advice, etc… a logo for Instrumentenfonds: a non-profit dedicated to helping young musicians by loaning instruments, helping to organize musical projects and working with orchestras and such. Besides the logo design, I also helped set-up their websites.
