The books in the Biodiversity Heritage Library on Flickr are a joy to go through. Where else am I going to find gems like these ‘Sea Unicornes’? I would love to read the written account of the person who thought they saw a horse’s head on a fish. (This is from ‘the history of the Caribby-islands’, from 1666)
